Buckeye Furnace Buckeye Furnace is owned by the Ohio Historical Society and is now managed by the Friends of Buckeye Furnace. The friends group is a sister organization to the Jackson Historical Society.

furnace, located outside Wellston, Ohio, was reconstructed in the early
1970's as a memorial to the charcoal iron industry once centered in
southeastern Ohio.
